About six weeks ago, my mum, a few of our neighbours and myself made our way to Tokyo, Japan. It was my first time being in Japan, and my first impression was 'wow'! I was so amazed by everything there. I've been to quite a number of places but nothing can come close to
Tokyo.
Tokyo.
The first thing I noticed was how clean it was. The people there were also very helpful to tourists. So on our first day there, we basically just walked around. We stayed in Ginza, which happens to be the 'Manhattan' of Tokyo. They had most of the designer stores a few meters away from our hotel.
There it is. Harry Winston. Blair Waldorf would approve. But the main reason why my mum wanted to go to Japan was to see the sakura. So we took a tube to the nearest park, Ueno park.
That's a picture of me and a sakura tree. Unfortunately for us, it was raining while we were there. So most of the sakura tree were no longer there.
On the second day, we had a group tour. A bus picked us up from our hotel and took us to the bus stop. Then we had to change busses for our tour.
That's me and my mum! First we headed to Meiji Shrine. My mum wasn't feeling well so she had to sit that one out with one of her friend.
Then we went to Asakusa Market. They had so many things. We also went there on our second last day because we couldn't get anything done as we only had about an hour to walk around. I bought ice cream and they didn't allow anyone to eat while they walk. That's how clean Tokyo is. Then we also got a cruise ride.
On the third day we had a tour to Mt Fuji. It was raining, again. So we couldn't really see anything. We even took the cable car but it was too misty.
On the 4th day, we went to Gotemba Outlet by ourselves. I didn't take any pictures there and it was also raining.
On our last day, we went to Harajuku Street, the famous intersection at Shibuya and walked around Ginza.
That's about it. Sorry it couldn't be more detailed because I went there a few months ago so I can't really remember exactly what we did, where, etc. So yeah.
