Night coffee

Wednesday, July 15, 2015

Hi guys. Can you believe that today is the second last day of ramadhan? It feels like tome has flown so fast for me this year. Anyway i hope you guys have had a great month so far.

By the way, I've decided to maybe blog a little in bahasa malaysia because why not. Don't get me wrong, I always converse in Malay but I don't feel as comfortable writing in Malay as I do in Enflish. Maybe because my Malay is very 'pasar' so I'm usure if I should write in formal malay or everyday pasar malay. But here goes.

Tadi, selepas buka puasa, saya keluar pergi Paradigm mall dengan boyfriend saya. Saya pergi sephora sebab nak redeem free birthday gift. Saya dapat highlighter and mascara by Benefit. I didn't expect that to be honest. Ingat kan dapat some products from sephora brand. But here it is.

I've been wanting to try the 'Watt's Up' highlighter so I was pretty excited to get the tester. And here I am typing in english again. Sorry.

Selepas tu, we went to grab a coffe at Kopimeo with a few of our other friends. Kopimeo is a coffee shop at sec 9, Shah Alam. I got a mocha. It was quite good actually. Saya buka coffee person sangat and it felt like there was more chocolate than coffee in it, so i really liked that. Most of the time I would always get a mocha that has way too much coffee for my liking.

So that's my mochachinno and my boyfriend's cappuccinno if I'm not mistaken. We also ordered churros. I guess you could say we are a little bit fussy when it comes to churros. Most of the churros I've tried around KL tastses a little bit like charkoay or however you spell it. There are a few good places that sells good churros though and I would say Kopimeo's churros is now on that list.

It's slightly oily for me but still good. And I guess that's it. I also got a bit of their salted caramel cake. That was good as well. But I forgot to take a picture of it.

So I guess that's it. I've been studying the whole day so I don't really have much to blog about. So see you guys later. Selamat tinggal ;)

22nd

Happy Birthday to me!!

Tuesday, July 14, 2015

As you can tell from the title (hopefully), I just celebrated my 22nd birthday on the 6th of July! Old, I know. I really wasn't looking forward to it. I felt like I was having a quarter life crisis or something. What's worse is that my CLP exams are coming soon. So i had that to worry about. But on the 5th of July, my family had some of our cousins and duties and uncles over. We broke our fast together then they brought out a cake for me.

That is me and a few of my cousins in the background and my mum.

Then on the next day, which was my actual birthday, my boyfriend told me we won't be doing anything this year. And I was fine with that because I really didn't feel like celebrating. So we just decided to hang at some coffee shop with a few of our friends.

The funny thing is, when we got there, we parked right behind of our friend's car who weren't supposed to be there. I didn't even notice it. So when we got down. I saw them outside, smoking. Turns out it was supposed to be a surprise. I was surprised though! I didn't expect them to be there. When we got inside, a few of my friends weren't expecting me to arrive just yet. So it was kind of a failed surprise but I was still surprised nonetheless.

It was at Double A cafe by the way. My friend got so much cake for us. I think she ordered everything that was left. I can't deny, their cakes were delicious! Sadly, I forgot to take a picture of those cakes closed up.

I also got the best birthday gift from my mum! I honestly did not expect her to agree with it. But she did!

Dior so real sunglasses! I love it so much. If you follow me on instagram, you could see my caption that my mum jokingly asked me to write. haha. It is true though. I do have the best mother in the world, I can't deny that.

Anyway that's all for now I guess. I should be studying anyway. My exam is in like two weeks. In case I don't get a chance to blog any time soon, I would just like to wish selamat hari raya to those who are celebrating and to those who aren't, happy holidays! :)
